Two days ago, David was attacked in the CES by an adult male. He described him as a big guy, buzz-cut, who looked like he might have had a military background. He was found unconscious by Alan Wake and brought to the infirmary.

Either we have a new person on board, or someone's altering their appearance somehow. If anyone has further information, I'd appreciate you sharing it.

Ah... [Normally, he'd say no. In a heartbeat. But there was something about this time that made him reconsider.] ... yeah, sure. No big deal.

[Will nodded and turned to leave the infirmary, waiting for David and making sure he was following.] Are you sure you're alright?

[He didn't mean physically. Being attacked by an unknown man and being unconscious for two days would be difficult for anyone to deal with, especially here.]

I'm fine. [David tries to sound cool and unconcerned, like it doesn't bother him.]

[Will doesn't comment except to look a little concerned before heading out of the infirmary. He's not sure he really wants to push him right after everything that happened.]

[David follows alongside, still oddly quiet. After a minute of walking in silence, he finally speaks up.] You know Bourne was behind this somehow.

[For a moment, he gives Will an 'Are you serious?' look that's pure David.]

Let's see... military guy, special forces or something, attacks me for no good reason? Who else would be behind it?

It wasn't Bourne. It had to be some friend of his. Some guy who worked with him or something.

Maybe. [He's quiet for a few moments.] Do you remember anything else about him?

Not really. [He closes his eyes.] It all happened so fast. I didn't even have any time to morph.

[Will had seen that firsthand in the Jurassic Park port - as powerful as morphing was, if David didn't have time to use it, he was practically helpless.]

[He nodded, expression surprisingly flat and neutral as he thought it over.] But he didn't kill you.
